Learn how scripts get written!
This course is taught by ANDY WATTS, Assistant Professor, for Media Arts, Sciences and Studies. Professor Watts is a filmmaker and screenwriter. His short films have played on air in The U.S., Latin America, and Japan as well as numerous film festivals throughout the world.
In this program, students will get the introduction to the theory and practice of writing for film, television, and emerging media. They will go through instruction in the fundamentals of visual writing, character, plot, dialogue, and theme, as well as the integration of these elements into scenes and short scripts. 
Students will imagine their own movies in this course that discusses the basics of writing for the screen, both large and small. They will learn professional screenplay format, proper story structure, character development, and most importantly, how to get those great ideas onto the page.
And finally, students will build the skills needed to write compelling, satisfying screenplays not just over the summer but for the rest of their lives as well.

- 托福80以上
